Obligation of Parents


A child’s education is a joint responsibility of home and school. Hence the greater the cooperation between the two, the more fruitful will be the e ducational effort and faster and the surer the child’s progress.

1. As a first step in this direction, we earnestly recommend that the parents and guardians familiarize themselves with the Diary and the rules it contains.

2. We also recommend that the parents check the Diary of the child regularly and enforce regularity and discipline at home. Remarks made in the Diary should be signed. Failure to do so may put the child to great in convenience.

3. Parents and Guardians should not visit their Wards or Teachers in the class room Appointments and other requests with the Principal and the teachers may be made through the pages of the School Diary. In an urgent case students may be contacted through the school office, with the permission of the Principal.

4. Withdrawal of your Ward from classes for social function is not recommended because it hampers the child’s progress in school.

5. Parents/Guardians are requested to notify the school for any change in their address and phone number for prompt interactions.

6. As the medium of instruction is English, a certain amount of regular conversation in English at home will help your Ward follow his/her work easily.

7. If the child’s performance is not satisfactory, the parents should contact the Principal for guidance.

8. Parents are required to intimate the school for any Leave of Absence of their Ward through a written application and they should mark “L” on the form meant for Leave Record in the Diary with the signature.

9. Parents should take prior permission from the Principal. if they wish to take the Ward out of station.

10. Parents should deposit the School/Hostel fee in time and avoid any inconvenience in this regard. It is the responsibility of the parents to deposit all school dues and keep the receipt in safe custody.

11. Parents/Guardians are requested to pay special attention to the personal cleanliness of their child and see that the child comes to the school in proper uniform

12. Parents are requested to enforce punctuality and discipline to see that the children prepare their home lessons regularly and devote at least three hours for studies at home.

13. Discipline is doing the right thing, at the right time, at the right place right way”.
