These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.indoamericanpublicschool.com and your engagement with Indo American Public School (IAPS) as a student, parent, guardian, or visitor. By accessing our website or enrolling your child at IAPS, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or availing of any services offered by Indo American Public School, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our website or services. IAPS in Udaipur reserves the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of our website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Admission Terms
Admission to Indo American Public School is subject to the availability of seats and compliance with the school’s admission policy, CBSE regulations, and the directives of Rajasthan State Government educational authorities. The following conditions apply:
- Submission of an admission form does not guarantee enrolment. Admission is confirmed only upon payment of applicable fees and receipt of a formal confirmation from the school.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the admission process. Any misrepresentation may result in cancellation of admission.
- Students seeking admission to Classes 9 to 12 must provide verified academic records and Transfer Certificates from their previous school.
- IAPS follows a non-discriminatory admission policy and admits students on the basis of merit, availability of seats, and applicable regulatory norms.
3. Fee Policy
The fee structure at IAPS is designed to be transparent and reasonable. The following conditions apply to fee payment and refunds:
- Fees must be paid within the stipulated timelines as communicated at the time of admission or at the beginning of each academic term.
- Late payment of fees may attract a penalty as per the school’s fee policy. Repeated delays may affect the student’s continued enrolment.
- Admission fees and registration charges, once paid, are non-refundable unless the school cancels the admission.
- Requests for fee refunds in cases of student withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the school office. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with CBSE and state government guidelines.
- Any changes to the fee structure for a new academic session will be communicated to parents in advance through official channels.
4. Student Code of Conduct
All students enrolled at Indo American Public School are expected to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, respect, and responsibility. Students must:
- Attend school regularly and punctually. Persistent absenteeism without valid reason may result in disciplinary action.
- Wear the prescribed school uniform on all working days and during school events, unless otherwise communicated by the school.
- Maintain respectful behaviour towards teachers, staff, fellow students, and school property at all times.
- Refrain from using mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or any prohibited items within the school premises, unless specifically permitted by school authorities.
- Adhere to the Rules of Discipline and Code of Conduct published by the school.
5. Parental Responsibilities
Parents and guardians play a vital role in their child’s educational journey. At IAPS, we request parents to:
- Ensure regular school attendance and timely arrival of their child each school day.
- Cooperate with the school in all matters relating to the student’s academic progress, behaviour, and well-being.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and other communication sessions organised by the school.
- Keep the school informed of any changes in contact information, address, or health conditions that may affect the student.
- Respect the decisions of school authorities, teachers, and staff and avoid interfering in academic or administrative matters without following due process.
6. Use of School Website
By accessing our website, you agree to use it solely for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the site. You must not:
- Use the website to transmit or publish any unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or offensive content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or its underlying systems.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, extract, or misuse data from our website.
- Use the school’s branding, logo, or name in any manner that may cause confusion or misrepresent IAPS.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All content published on the IAPS website and in school publications, including text, images, videos, logos, branding, and course materials, is the exclusive intellectual property of Indo American Public School. You may not reproduce, redistribute, adapt, or commercially exploit any content without obtaining prior written permission from the school management.
8. Transport Services
IAPS provides transportation facilities as an optional service for enrolled students. Use of the school transport service is subject to the following:
- Transport routes and timings are determined by the school and may be revised periodically based on operational requirements.
- Students using school transport must comply with the conduct guidelines applicable on school buses. Misconduct may result in suspension of the transport facility.
- IAPS shall not be liable for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
9. Hostel Facilities
Students residing in the school hostel must abide by the hostel rules and regulations issued by IAPS. Key conditions include:
- Hostel accommodation is subject to availability and is granted at the sole discretion of the school management.
- Students are expected to maintain decorum, discipline, and cleanliness within the hostel premises at all times.
- Any damage to hostel property will be the financial responsibility of the student and their parents.
- Hostel fees are payable as per the schedule communicated at the time of admission and are subject to revision with prior notice.
10. Photography, Media & Events
IAPS regularly organises events, competitions, sports days, annual functions, and cultural programmes. By enrolling a student at IAPS, parents consent to the school recording and using photographs and videos taken during these events for official publications, the school website, and social media. Parents wishing to opt out of this consent must submit a written request to the school office.
11. Grievance Redressal
IAPS is committed to resolving any concerns raised by students, parents, or staff in a fair and timely manner. Complaints or grievances should be submitted in writing to the school office or via email. The school will acknowledge receipt within three working days and endeavour to resolve the matter within a reasonable period. Matters of serious concern may be escalated to the School Management Committee.
12. Termination of Enrolment
IAPS reserves the right to terminate the enrolment of a student in the following circumstances:
- Persistent violation of the school’s Code of Conduct or Rules of Discipline.
- Non-payment of dues beyond the stipulated period without prior communication.
- Provision of false or misleading information during admission.
- Any conduct by the student or their parent/guardian that is deemed detrimental to the school’s reputation, safety, or educational environment.
In all such cases, the school will follow due process and provide an opportunity for the concerned party to present their position before a final decision is made.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India, including applicable state laws of Rajasthan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our website or school services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
